About Us
The Logan Farm was established in 1894 in Hempfield Township Irwin, PA. Freshness and ‘direct to you’ have always been the philosophy of the Logan Family evolving to today with home grown sweet corn, quality natural dry aged beef and Berkshire Black Pork. The Logan Family has always had a love of the land and a passion for agriculture!
Practices
Our Cattle are:
Naturally raised with no synthetic hormones or antibiotics.
Never given animal by products; a totally vegetarian diet.
Fed home grown forages and grains.
Selectively bred for genetics that promotes tenderness, flavor and juiciness.
DRY AGED 21 days or more for an intense beef flavor and tenderness.
Harvested at a local USDA Inspected Facility.
Minimally processed, no tenderizers, flavorings or colorings added.
The beef is dry aged and cut into retail cuts, vacuumed packaged, labeled and quick frozen for sale. From our gate to your plate. Contact us today to taste the quality and flavor of premium, natural, dry aged beef.

Our Hogs are:
Fed on our farm with our home grown feeds.
NO added antibiotics, hormones or growth stimulants.
Grown at their own pace.
Harvested under USDA Inspection with no added tenderizers or additives in the pork.
Treated humanely by all who handle them.
Harvested at a local USDA Inspected Facility.
Purebred Berkshire Pork from the best bloodlines in the U.S.

Rotational grazed pastures encompassing 150 acres are dedicated to the cow calf herd at Logan Family Farms.
Composted manure supplies the majority of plant nutrients for harvested feed stuffs reducing the need for additional synthetic fertilizers.
No-till Crop Practices: (Reduces fuel usage by 70%, Minimizes the release of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere by sequestering soil carbons, and minimizes soil disturbance and promotes soil health due to crop residues and soil organisms.)
Year round cover crops improve soil health, control soil erosion, and reduce nutrient leaching into streams and water supplies.
Crop rotation provides sustainable pest control by breaking pest cycles and improving soil health.
